Triangle received the IBM Retail Store Solutions (RSS) Solution Provider Excellence Award last week at the IBM European Retail University held in Monaco.

This award recognises the special accomplishments Triangle has made in 2005/06 to grow IBM's Retail and Hospitality business in the UK.

Significant customer implementations in Retail include New Look, The Body Shop and The Officers Club, who have installed Triangle's Retail Manager solution to take control of the central strategy through to branch execution by removing 'open-ended' communication media such as email, fax and paper then applying process to every component, complete visibility - measurement and reference are assured.

Where as The Dorchester, Manchester United Football Club and John Lewis all use Triangle's point-of-sale solution to enable new ways to expand revenues, whilst improving guest experience and streamlining operations.

The IBM RSS was held for IBM Business Partners and ISVs from across Europe and South Africa, to understand IBM Retail Store Solutions' strategy and its comprehensive solutions for retailers and merchants. Over the 3 days, educational and roundtable sessions were conducted with worldwide executives and business line managers to discuss business opportunities with partners. There was also a chance to experience IBM's Retail offerings while touring the IBM's Industry Solution Centre in La Gaude.
