Retail Manager Solutions Ltd (RMS), the leading provider of retail and store communications solutions, has announced that its Retail Manager solution has been chosen by Carpetright plc. Europe's leading specialist carpet and floor covering retailer will implement the market-leading system across its 550+ stores and concessions in the UK and Ireland.
"We chose Retail Manager because we saw an opportunity in the business, and especially in key areas like HR and retail operations, to further enhance communications, improve efficiency, optimise staff time in-store and reduce costs," says Claire Balmforth, Group Human Resources Director, Carpetright.

We have successfully replaced our core central and store systems recently, and Retail Manager is the next step in delivering world class IT solutions. The functionality is a perfect fit with our requirements, it is a proven solution and a great fit strategically. It will help the stores and CSO to work even more effectively together in the future."
Carpetright supplies all sectors of the floor covering market with an approach designed to combine breadth of range with keen pricing and excellent customer service, resulting in the best offer for consumers. The retailer is now implementing all core modules of Retail Manager, including Store Details Database, Store Planner, Survey Tool, Content Management, Security and 'Ask The Expert'. The modular system means Carpetright is also benefiting from enhanced functionality covering Labour Management and timesheets plus Accident and Incident Reporting.
Carpetrights' solution is currently being developed, with a pilot planned for later this year and full rollout following shortly after. The retailer examined other potential solutions but none was considered as functionally complete and benefits-led as easy-to-use browser-based Retail Manager.
RMS are now delivering benefits for other leading businesses including House of Fraser, Mothercare, The Officers Club, Matalan, The Body Shop, Vision Express, New Look and T-Mobile.
