


One of the UK's biggest clothing and homeware retailers implemented Retail Manager to improve processes and achieve a step-change in communications. The InSight solution helped Matalan increase efficiency while reducing operating costs; the business expects payback within two years.
"This was a retail-led project that was all about the end users," says Andrew Weir, Head of Retail Operations, Matalan. Go-live in October 2006 was soon followed by the removal of fax machines from stores, a big win in terms of taking costs out of the business. Paperwork was immediately cut by 65%.
