The Security module enables creation and management of roles and the permissions and privileges these roles have within the solution. In addition to roles the hierarchy of the organisation is managed via the Security module e.g. region, area, division and store.
All users are associated with a role within the solution and this could be a single user or thousands of users for each role. Functionality is configured for each role enabling them access to certain areas of the solution and then privileges within these areas.
The configurable nature of the Security function ensures the solution can be changed quickly and easily according to business change.
