Ask the Expert module helps you manage the scarcest of resources: expertise. Whatever you need expertise in, be it products, processes, promotions or anything else, Ask The Expert makes information easy to find, easy to manage and easy to keep current. Stores see up-to-date information that’s easy to search and navigate, while topic experts can easily publish answers to questions in their area.
If a specific question isn’t answered by information already published by topic experts a new question can be raised. This is automatically passed to the appropriate expert or team for resolution.
The experts can mark questions and answers about a topic as a FAQ, which brings them automatically to the attention of other people searching for answers on that topic. So trending topics need only be answered once and experts aren’t bogged down answering the same question. This saves everyone time, and improves service quality too.
To make sure information delivered is helpful and accurate, Ask the Expert reports on questions, speed of response and ratings given – by topic and question. This makes it easy to identify important topics and provide the right expertise to people on the ground.
