With success on the web becoming more and more critical for retailers, how they integrate and leverage their bricks and mortar estate with the web is critical. Supporting the click and collect process is a quick win that is being realised by our customers. Seamless integration with central systems provides a quick and easy notification to the customer and also to the store of impending click and collect activity.

Upon release from the DC of the goods the customer is sent an email notifying them when the goods will arrive in store and a click and collect task is created in the appropriate stores diary. The task contains all relevant details such as customer name, contact details and also details of their order. In addition to this up sell and cross sell suggestions can be provided to the store staff.

Various elements of the process can be ticked off by store staff such as goods arrived, customer called etc. When the customer picks up the order the click and collect task is completed or if there are any issues then this can also be selected – such as return to DC goods unwanted. All reason codes for click and collect tasks can be reported at head office to help identify process issues.
